Welcome to North Collective!

Today is the day: North Collective is live! The last few months we’ve been working really hard to realize this. And now we can finally tell you what North Collective exactly is. It all started as a photography page on Instagram, right? Well, we can tell you that North Collective is no longer about photography. Sad, huh? Yeah, we know. But we turned North Collective into something that, we think, is much cooler! Read on if you want to know what we’re about!

Time for change

In 2015 North Collective started as a photography account on Instagram. We showcased beautiful photo’s from photographers all around the world. We were a group of designers & photographers who believed that design can really make a difference, we’ve tried to show this through our photography social profile. But in 2016 we came to the conclusion that design is more than just photography. So we retreated ourselves and started trying to point out what we really wanted to show the world. The world is developing at an immense speed, causing technology to improve and the style of design to change. We thought that was very interesting, so we started to focus on a wider range of design. From the world’s most awesome installations to beautiful architecture, it all fits in North Collective, our new platform showcasing design projects that we like.

A platform for design inspiration

North Collective is your place for design inspiration. Drones, graffiti, interactive buildings, it doesn’t matter: if it has anything to do with design and we like it, we’ll write an article about it.

So, you’re just another blog, right? Well, officially we are a blog indeed. But feel free to call us your design heroes, the website you open first when you wake up. We are there for you, we are your platform for design inspiration. Oh, and have you seen the ads on our site? No? We haven’t either. That’s because we want our website to be all about quality, which means that we will never interrupt your reading experience by placing banner ads. We just let you focus on the content, so that you can get what you came for: your dose of design inspiration.

Weekly Design Inspiration

Each Monday, we will inspire you with a fresh list of several design thingies. Think about all kind of design: from apps to paintings. We call this our Weekly Design Inspiration. The rest of the week, we try to find awesome design projects and write about it.
